SLI President to Lead Marketing Plan Workshop
There's no time like now to freshen your marketing methods and chart a plan for success!Mark your calendar for the half-day seminar, "Creating a Marketing Plan that Works for You," sponsored by the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. Silver Link, Inc.'s President, Wilma Simons, will facilitate the program.
Topics will include:
The basics of branding, marketing and PR
Common marketing pitfalls
Marketing plan and budget development
Individual and group exercises will be included to give participants a chance to apply the information presented.
The seminar will be held Thursday, March 13.

SLI Partners with Solution Consultants International to offer Hispanic marketing expertise
Silver Link, Inc. and Solution Consultants International have joined forces to deliver Hispanic marketing solutions to new and existing clients.Adolfo Prieto is one of several multi-lingual members of the Solution Consultants team. He is a native of Venezuela, although most of his family is from Colombia. He has lived in Atlanta since 1979.
Adolfo gained corporate experience in finance/accounting, auditing, operations, and marketing during seven years with The Coca-Cola Company. In his last position with the company, he served as Licensing Finance and Manager for Coca-Cola’s Olympic City during the 1996 Atlanta Games.
On the entrepreneurial side, Adolfo established the first Hispanic-owned real estate company in Georgia, and later the state’s first Hispanic-owned mortgage firm. With his success in the real estate arena, he was recruited by HomeBanc Mortgage Corp. to serve as Operations Manager for the HomeBanc en Español division.
Adolfo has also developed and managed a tax preparation practice and a franchise day care center.
As a counselor at Georgia State University’s Small Business Development Center, he created and delivered several courses and seminars for aspiring entrepreneurs. He received a BS in Behavioral Science and an MS in Human Resource Management and Development from National Louis University.
